Marriage is the most fundamental civil institution of society. Safeguarded by government, marriage is the great stabilizing force behind a peaceful and productive people, who care about their children and wish to secure to them a land of blessed liberty.
In 2015, the Supreme Court attempted to foist an imaginary version of marriage on the people. In response, politicians carelessly surrendered to the illegitimate ruling and abandoned the legal fight—even though the Court had no power to impose upon the nation any new rule or redefinition of words. At FightforMarriage.org, we assert that, no matter the opinion of judges, marriage is what marriage is—the legal union of a man and woman—and we believe in raising up leadership to renew legal protection to this bedrock institution, in order to fulfill the U.S. Constitution's promises to posterity. We also believe that America cannot survive under the dictatorship of rogue judges, who threaten every aspect of our way of life and self-government. The courts are continuously emboldened to impose their will upon the people, but the answer to the courts' usurpations is simple: elect courageous officials who will uphold their oath of office and refuse to enforce subversive court rulings. Every elected official has the constitutional duty to check and balance the runaway judiciary, so that the laws and the people are protected. Join with us to gather like-minded Americans from around the country, to restore the institution of marriage and our republic. |
